Call for Applications - 2009 R.E. Taylor Student Poster Competition
R.E. TAYLOR STUDENT POSTER AWARD
Competitions Spring 2009
Undergraduate and graduate-level students who are first authors on posters presented during April 2009 are encouraged to enter this year’s competition. The prize includes a monetary award $125 (US). Entries will be judged on the significance of the archaeological problem, appropriateness of the archaeometric methods used, soundness of conclusions, and quality of the poster display.
To enter, send an email that includes the student’s name, university/college, department, standing, postal address, poster title, and abstract text. Submit a full color copy of the poster as a pdf attachment. All entries must be received by May 1, 2009. Posters will be judged by a board of SAS reviewers and a winner announced by email no later than May 15, 2009.
